got holes in my new jeans for you.

i miss last summer a little bit...

cinderella in a party dress.

just had an interesting conversation about the waltz.

typically, in this day and age, when a man and woman get married they wrap their arms around each others' neck and waist and sway around in a circle. however, when the father and daughter dance, they almost instinctively assume the traditional waltz stance... even if it is incorrect... its just automatic.

what's going to happen when my daughter gets married? how is she going to dance with her father? and even more concerning... how is she going to dance with her husband?

it's official. i am going to take ballroom dancing classes. i am going to teach my children the proper way to dance the moment they learn how to walk. no more of this swaying in a circle nonsense.

welcome home.
