i met this awesome girl two nights ago. she's in love with medium format film. she rides a sick bike. she's traveled through europe. she's 23 and she's an art teacher. she's a painter, too. she's got some rad friends. she's lived here for 5 years and wants to show me some secret cool photo spots she's found. last night, she brought me to an art show. today, i'm spending with her and her mom romping around the mission and the marina.

in an effort to get people to look

without saying hello. in the restaurant
i point at chicken noodle soup.
i am adjusting well to the new way.

late at night, i call my long distance lover,
